I heard about the Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA) during a Christian retreat in high school. I was 16 years old and the requirement of a bachelor's degree made it seem far away. However, at that time I prayed and asked the Lord Jesus to lead me there after I finished high school and college. For my college years I chose a small, Brethren-based school without any fraternities or sororities in a quiet rural town. Surely, I could continue my Christian walk at such a place. But after only one semester I was rapidly becoming a “backslidden” Christian. Throughout the years my parents supported me with love, and prayed much for me. My mother bought me a plane ticket and trip to a Christian conference in Anaheim, California. The speaker was Witness Lee and the content of the conference was the Old Testament book, the Song of Songs. The speaking of the Word through Witness Lee brought in a healing of my heart and drew me back to love the Lord Jesus as never before. Something within my heart was longing to give up my future and everything for Christ. Though I did not remember my prayers at that time from high school, in retrospect I realize He was beginning to operate during my college years. The Lord Jesus Christ was faithful to answer my prayer to lead me back to Him, even to the point of giving up my future for Him.

Eventually, the Lord Jesus led me to the FTTA. Throughout these two years He has continued to be faithful to not only continue to heal my heart and daily increase my love for Him individually, but also to draw me to run after Him with other Christians as the Body of Christ (Song of Songs 1:4). This has not been of my own accord but by the Lord's mercy, the prayers of my family, and the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee motivating me to love the Lord Jesus more every day and make me willing to give my life and all to Him.
